  • 37044 leaves Cambridge with the 1135 to Liverpool Street. 15th July 1978. Viewed from the Cattle Market, a superb location for spotters in the sixties.

  • 31199 heads a Liverpool Street to Cambridge working at Shepreth Branch Junction on 4th February 1978. In the background is Granhams Road crossing. The Kings Cross line veers off to the right.

  • With a few remaining traces of snow on the ground 37110 roars through Shelford with the 1026 Cambridge to Liverpool Street on 18th February 1978. Shot taken from the signal box door. Sadly a vantage point no longer available.

  • 37022 passes through the Cambridgeshire countryside near Great Shelford with the 1450 Liverpool Street to Kings Lynn on 23rd February 1980. The track bed of the Stour Valley line to Sudbury and Colchester which left the main line here can be seen to the left.
