Preserved at the "Train Story Discovery Centre" is this former 1938 London Underground Class 483 N0:- 007 "Jess Harper" The 483's were introduced on the Island Line {Ryde Pier to Shanklin) between 1989-1992. In January 2021 they were replaced by the current 484 Units.
